Will Connecticut Be Home to the Next American Idol?

American Idol wraps up it's 14th season tonight, and it could be he first time ever a Connecticut resident could be the next American Idol.

Nick Fradiani from Guilford, Ct. could be the next American idol. He survived the final elimination and will go head to head with Clark Beckham from Nashville, Tn. It's North vs South as the two will make up the almost final finale. As you know Fox announced on Monday that American Idol will call it quits after it's 15th and final season next year.

For now it's time to see if after 13 seasons American Idol finally can produce a winner from the Northeast. So far every Idol winner with the exception of season 9 winner Lee DeWyze (from Illinois) has been from a southern state. So it's not just a vote for Nick tonight, it's a vote for all of us that have that Northeastern pride.
