Yorktown’s Jessica Lynn Set For European Invasion

When you think of Country Music, you think of Nashville, you think good old USA. This summer Yorktown's own Jessica Lynn will be invading Europe and bringing country music to the masses.

We've been friends for the last few years, so it's always fun to see what Jessica Lynn is up to these day's.

As an independent Country Music artist, you always have to find new ways to get your music out there to the people. Jessica has always done a fantastic job in doing that around here locally, and across the country.

Now she's embarking on her very first European Tour. Her trek across the pond will take her to five different countries in a little over a month and a half.

Now how do Europeans feel about country music, well I asked Jessica that when she visited our Kicks studio this morning, (Thursday 6/8).

"They really love Country Music, I was so surprised. Last year we did a few dates there and the response was so great we're going back for a full tour this time."

Jessica won't be back in the area until mid August, but already there's a big welcome back concert set for August 19th in Yorktown, and of course we'll be there to see how the tour went, and to welcome her back. The one thing I've learned knowing Jessica over the years, and that's when she does something, she does it big time.
