At one time or another, you may have gotten a phone call saying, “You qualify for a free cruise.” If you've ever gotten a call like this, you may be able to join a settlement of a class-action lawsuit against Resort Marketing Group, entitling you to up to $900.

The company was placing robocalls for cruise lines without permission from the recipient, which is not legal. These calls were placed sometime between 2009 and 2014 on behalf of Royal Caribbean, Carnival, and Norwegian Cruise Lines.

You may not remember if you’ve gotten such a call, but luckily enough, you can check your number on a website that was set up. Click here and put in your phone number to find out if it was called. When I entered my phone number, sadly, I was not part of the settlement. I’ve definitely gotten robocalls in the past — just not from them. It only takes seconds, and you could be due hundreds of dollars.
