If you are one of those people who don't brush off their cars before you leave the house after a storm, you might have helped the State of CT earn a lot of money!

Since January 1st, the State of CT has earned just under $28,000 when you add up all the fines that have been distributed to drivers who don't clean their cars off after a snow storm. About 230 specific tickets have been handed out since a new law went into effect. The new policy states that tickets starting at the range of $75 would be issued to drivers who don't follow these guidelines, but that's just the beginning!

If ice ends up flying off your car or truck and injure somebody, the fine could be as high as $1,000 a pop.

Now say you get hit with some of this ice and your windshield is damaged..wouldn't be even better if the State would give the money back to pay your repair?...Wishful thinking huh...
