There are now 25 COVID drive-thru testing sites throughout Connecticut, thanks to CVS. The new locations, according to nbcconnecticut.com, will feature self-swab tests, but you will need to meet the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention criteria and age guidelines. Here are the most critical factors you should know before pulling up to a drive-thru test site.

  • Patients need to register in advance at cvs.com.
  • Go to the CVS drive-thru window where you will receive your test kit.
  • You will be given instructions, and the CVS team member will observe you using the swab to make sure you're using it correctly.
  • Tests will be sent to a third-party lab, and your results should be available within three days.

The new CVS COVID testing site in Danbury can be found at 47 Lake Ave. Ext. And the existing COVID testing site is located at 7 Durant Ave. in Bethel. Altogether, there are 25 CVS testing sites throughout Connecticut. For the entire list, click, dailyvoice.com.
