A pizza restaurant chain with shops in our locale is offering to repair our potholes. We deal with potholes every year, and now we can take matters into our own hands, and nominate a local pothole for repair within the Greater Danbury, Hudson Valley Region.

Domino’s Paving for Pizza program is a pothole repair program aims to make roads safer for pizza delivery personnel, the pizza pies they deliver, and the customers who might driving home with a pizza.

Some of their trucks now sport the Domino's logo along with: "Bad roads shouldn't happen to good pizza," Visit their PavingForPizza.com website. Click to nominate your town, and pothole. They could either send a crew to fix the pothole, or provide the money to the community to fix it. Their website explains their program:

Potholes, cracks and bumps in the road can cause irreversible damage to your pizza during the frive home from Domino's. We can't stand by and let your cheese slide to one side, your toppings get un-topped, or your boxes get flipped. So we're helping to pave in towns across the country to save your good pizza from these bad roads.

Our nearest Domino’s location is at 36 Tamarack Avenue, in Danbury.
