Get ready, coffee lovers. Soon, you'll be able to get your caffeine fix faster then ever before.  There's a new Starbucks coming to Newtown, and this one's going to include a drive-thru window.

The newest Starbucks will be the anchor tenant in a building under construction at 75 Church Hill Road, right across from the Blue Colony Diner right off of Exit 10 on I-84.

Believe it or not, this Starbucks will be the first non-bank and non-drugstore to be allowed to offer drive-through service in Newtown since the town's original zoning regulations went into effect in 1958, according to the News Times. The regulations were put into effect in order to keep national chains like McDonalds and Wendy's, who rely on their drive thru service, out of the area.

Not only will you be able to order inside or at the drive thru, but it's location is right off exit 10 of I-84, so even if you get that coffee craving on the way to or from work, it's easy on, easy off.

Right now, the folks at Newtown Town Hall told me that a late Summer, early Fall grand opening is expected. So, drivers, rev up your engines, and get ready to get your Frappuccino on.
