Dinner with a guy that writes about dogs to help cats? What?

If you love animals, here’s an idea for a great night out: dinner with an author while raising money to help a great organization. The Wells Valley Cat Sanctuary will host an evening with Author David Rosenfelt at the Candlewood Valley Country Club in New Milford on July 28th from 6 to 10 pm.

David Rosenfelt will share some of his incredible stories of the journey which paved his way to help homeless dogs and also inspired him to write his book Dogtripping. This book is a true story of his trip across America in 3 RV’s filled with 25 rescue dogs and 11 volunteers. He has also written 13 mystery novels and is the co-founder of the Tara Foundation, a Golden Retriever Rescue in Maine. By the way, Tara is David's personal pooch.

Rosenfelt will be signing his latest book about rescue Outfoxed, which you can preorder at Bank Street Book Nook by calling 860-354-3865.

It’s a fun night with great food, drinks and dessert with a man who has amazing stories. The best part is, all proceeds benefit the Wells Valley Cat Sanctuary in New Milford. Tickets are $50 per person and seating is limited so call the Wells Valley Cat Sanctuary to get yours 203-305-2543.
