Aaron Hernandez’s Connecticut Life, Murder Trial + Suicide Covered in New Netflix Documentary

The documentary Killer Inside: The Mind of Aaron Hernandez debuts on Netflix today (1/15/19). According to the New Haven Register, the three-part docu-series will give viewers a peek into the early life of Aaron Hernandez growing up in Bristol, CT. The film will also cover his murder trial, conviction and the dark ending to his life.

The film's director Geno McDermott said he wanted a "Connecticut perspective" for the movie, so it will include interviews with the people who knew him best growing up. The movie examines his family life and his father's early and sudden passing as well.

The Aaron Hernandez story is one that has so many twists and turns; his death raised so many questions as to who he actually was as a man. The certainties are that he was a star athlete, a champion and a convicted killer. However, the speculation surrounding his decisions are fascinating and should make for an interesting documentary.
