Many entertainers are quietly helping our friends on the front lines of the COVID-19 fight, and a New Milford food pantry was the latest recipient of a generous gift.

Actress Christine Baranski and the cast and crew of the CBS TV Show The Good Fight surprised the staff of the Loaves and Fishes Hospitality House with a week's worth of catered meals.

Baranski, a veteran of TV shows including the Big Bang Theory, the Good Wife and its spinoff, the Good Fight, lives in Bethlehem when not filming the show.

Loaves and Fishes said in a Facebook post,

Many heartfelt thanks to Christine Baranski and the producers of the CBS show the Good Fight! Their recent donation of a weeks worth of catered meals was so welcome during this difficult time! The food was delicious and much appreciated by our guests and volunteers!

Loaves and Fishes is in the process of building a new home behind Young's Field on Bridge Street in New Milford.
