Amazon’s New Mammouth Delivery Facility Opens This Week in Danbury

The time has come to get busy at 8-24 Old Sherman Turnpike in Danbury. Amazon's new delivery station will officially open this week, creating over 100 full and part-time associate jobs along with literally hundreds of driver opportunities.

Not only has Amazon opened up hundreds of job opportunities in the Danbury area, but in celebration of the launch of the Danbury delivery station, Amazon gladly took care of $10,000 worth of Amazon wish-list items for the Women's Center of Greater Danbury.

The new Amazon delivery station in Danbury is part of the last leg of the order process. Packages are shipped to a delivery station from neighboring Amazon Fulfillment and Sortation Centers, where they are loaded onto delivery vehicles and delivered directly to customers.

Amazon has generated more than 8,500 jobs throughout Connecticut along with more than $2.1 billion in investments. All things combined adds an additional $1.7 billion to the states economy.
