This week Banner is our featured Pet of the Week. If you're looking for a big bundle of love, then Banner is your guy.

Banner is a Pit Bull who was abandoned at the dog park in New Milford. He's is just over a year old, but he's fully grown and weighs in at about a hundred pounds, which is a lot of dog.

He has a very sweet and playful demeanor, but is quite strong, especially when he's on leash. He is a big baby when it comes to being left alone, so he would certainly appreciate someone who is home more often than not. Now due to the fact that he truly does not understand his own size, they are not placing him in a family with small children.

Banner is very playful, but will probably need a little training just because of his size. Always remember when you adopt the dog, you're adopting the breed, and in Banner's case, you're getting a full-fledged Pit Bull.

He's all up to date on his vaccines and has been neutered, and he's just waiting for his new forever home.
