Bed Bath & Beyond plans to close 60 stores across the country by the end of the fiscal year. The announcement reportedly came in the wake of a number of poor earnings reports.

The chain has 17 locations in Connecticut, so it stands to reason, some of the stores closed will be in Connecticut. Despite the expected changes, however, the popular retailer has not announced the specific locations they plan to close, according to The Patch, and none of the local stores have been mentioned by name.

The company estimates that closings will begin in early 2020.

Here is a listing of the current Bed Bath & Beyond locations throughout Connecticut:

I've only been in Bed, Bath & Beyond a handful of times, but I must say I enjoyed it.

The only problem with my visits is that I would fixate on discovering the "Beyond" portion of the store. I've seen the bedding, I've seen the Bath items, but the "Beyond" part of the store remains an elusive mystery.

Hopefully I'll be able to get to the bottom of it before the closings begin.
