Beer Fest Kicks Off Bethel’s SummerFest This July

A fun weekend event is returning to Bethel this year. We've attended the last few years and always have a good time.

Starting July 15 and going through July 17, Bethel SummerFest will take over Downtown Bethel. It will kickoff on Friday night with the popular Beer Fest that happens on the Municipal Center front lawn. In addition to the beer tasting there will also be food trucks and live music.

Here is what you can expect to see the rest of the weekend:

• SplashFest on Municipal Center Front Lawn
• StreetFest on PT Barnum Square
  • Games
  • Music
  • Vendors
• Sidewalk Sales on Greenwood Ave
• Kids Entertainers on the Library's Front Lawn

The kids are very excited for this weekend, because of all the fun stuff for kids. I'm excited for the StreetFest and Sidewalk Sale. My husband is excited for the Beer Fest, which has grown over the years to offer a pretty nice tasting selection.  It's a nice way to get the community out for a weekend.
