The Bethel Police Department continues to reach out to the community and raise funds for Special Olympics.

This time they are hosting a Cornhole Tournament on Saturday November 2nd at the Putnam House on Depot Place in Bethel.

The tournament is hosted by the Bethel Police Department and  the Connecticut Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics, and your invited to form a team and participate in this great cause.

Here's what you need to know about the event:

It's happening Saturday Novermebr 2nd at the Putnam House, and the tournament starts at 12:30 PM with team registration beginning at 12:00 PM.

The tournament will be limited to the first 24 teams who sign up. You'll need two people per team, and it's a double elimination tournament, so your guaranteed to play at least two games, there are cash prizes and a buffet is included with your registration.

Also you must be 21 or older to be able to participate in the tournament.
