If there's one thing most of our first responders and medical personnel need these days, it's protective equipment to keep them safe when dealing with coronavirus patients.

Well, first responders in Bethel have to be breathing a little easier, according to the Bethel Emergency Management and Fire Marshal's Facebook page, much needed supplies just arrived on Friday.

A partial shipment of much needed medical face shields and protective coveralls has arrived from FEMA. They will now be able to be distributed to the Bethel police and to EMS workers to help them respond to the Coronavirus pandemic.

The most recent shipment included 500 medical face shields and 275 protective coveralls.

As you know, during this crisis, much needed protective masks, clothing, and face shield have been in short supply, so this partial shipment comes at a good time.
