Canaan Smith's tour bus caught fire early Thursday morning (July 7) while the singer was traveling to Ft. Loramie, for the Country Concert Music Festival. Photos show smoke at the back of the bus while Smith and another unidentified man stand nearby.

Of course, you'd have to look past a shirtless "Hole in the Bottle" singer to notice that. "This is the expression you have when your bus catches on fire in the middle of the night," Smith writes on Instagram. Later he sent a statement to Taste of Country.

Man, there really is never a dull moment when you’re on the road. Just grateful everyone is ok and shoutout to those that helped us get back on the bus quickly. Can’t wait to get rowdy with y’all tonight at Country Concert Music Festival.

Smith says he's working on new music, the follow-up to his debut Bronco album, which included the chart-topping "Love You Like That." During an interview at Country Jam in Grand Junction, Colo., he was coy with details.

“I can’t say what’s coming next, because it’s not even fully decided yet," he remarked. "Y’all stay tuned because we have something coming for you.”

He did share that his father had surprised him for his Father's Day set, and during a game of Never Have I Ever, Smith admitted that he once snuck into a Tim McGraw concert.
