Carrie Underwood will make her grand return to the Grammy Awards next month. The announcement was made via a CBS promo during the Patriots vs. Broncos game on Sunday (Jan. 24).

Journalist David Wild later confirmed the news. Underwood's latest single is "Heartbeat," so it seems likely that is what she'll perform during the Feb. 15 ceremony. Rumor has it that Sam Hunt will join her — he sings backup vocals on the studio track and is up for two awards that night. He's also listed as a performer, though it isn't clear he and Underwood will sing together.

Underwood is nominated for Best Country Solo Performance for “Little Toy Guns." She last performed at the Grammys in 2013, singing "Blown Away" in the famous light-up dress. One year earlier she performed "It Had to Be You," a duet with Tony Bennett, on the Grammy stage. She also performed in 2008 and 2009. "Heartbeat" is the second single from her Storyteller album, released last October. She tells Taste of Country the lyrics are her and husband Mike Fisher's story.

The 2016 Grammys promise to be country-filled, as Little Big Town are also scheduled to perform. The foursome are up for four awards at this year's event, including the coveted Album of the Year for their Pain Killer record. Chris Stapleton is likely to get some stage time, too, as he's also nominated for four prizes, also including Album of the Year.

The rest of the performance lineup includes Adele, the WeekndJustin Bieber, Pitbull and Kendrick Lamar. The Grammy Awards air live from the Staples Center in Los Angeles on Feb. 15, beginning at 8PM ET on CBS.
