Actor Charles Esten has been playing the role of Deacon Clayborne on the hit show Nashville for the past six seasons. Now in its final season, Charles talked to Mr. Morning & Suzy about the end of the show, game shows, and playing at the Ridgefield Playhouse.

It’s hard to imagine Rayna Jaymes on stage without Deacon Claybourne at her side, but that's what's happening as the hit show Nashville draws to a close.

For Charles Esten, finishing up his role as Deacon Claybourne is a bitter sweet ending. He will no longer be part of the popular Country Music-themed show, but he will have more opportunities to do something else he loves — touring with his own band, and being able to play at places like the Ridgefield Playhouse. You can catch him there on Friday night, January the 19th.

Mr. Morning & Suzy got a chance to talk with Esten, and he talked all about nearing the end of Nashville, his number one social media follower, game shows, and how much he loves playing at the Ridgefield Playhouse. Check it out:
