CityCenter Danbury Hosting First Ever Short Film Competition
Another first for the City of Danbury!
CityCenter Danbury is hosting its first 'Short Film Competition' with the cooperation of the Danbury Public Library. For your independent film to qualify for the contest, it must showcase downtown Danbury and be 4 to 7 minutes in length. Your film must also shed a positive spin on Danbury and should not contain any nudity, explicit violence or offensive language.
Filmmakers must select from one of the following genres: silent film, comedy, drama, sci-fi, or thriller and all filmmakers will need to include 5 items which are listed and defined on the CityCenter website at citycenterdanbury.com/shorts/. The film submission deadline is 12 noon on October 31, 2019, and your short film can be submitted on the website www.filmfreeway.com.
The first, second, and third-place winner's films will be shown at the Red Carpet Screening Event at the Palace Theatre Danbury on Nov. 14, 2019.
