Grab your lobster crackers and bibs. Let's eat.

Not only am I always up for some great eats, but I'm also up for sharing information about awesome events around Connecticut. So, when I stumbled on this foodie's dream event, I had to share.

The Danbury Museum & Historical Society cordially invite you to chow down. They are holding their first ever, good old New England Clam Bake on Thursday, June 30, at the museum grounds, 43 Main Street in Danbury.

Enjoy a great afternoon and evening of eating and schmoozing with your friends. There is, of course, lobster and all the fixings on the menu, but you can also choose steak, or even a vegetarian option. You must, however, purchase tickets in advance. The purchase date has been extended to Monday, June 27. You can go, in person, to the museum Monday - Saturday from 10 AM - 4 PM.

Or, better yet, you can do it online:

I'll take extra butter please.
