Every day through various methodology data, one company is able to grade each state on social distancing.

The company I speak of is called Unacast and they've developed a daily interactive scoreboard that's updated on a daily basis. I'll be honest, their methodology is far to complex for my little brain to decipher but if you'd like to take a crack at it, have at it, at Unacast.com. I do know that data is secured from various traffic factors from cell phones according to the following YouTube video.

From March 20 to April 3, Connecticut was doing just OK with a 'C' grade on the Social Distancing Scoreboard. Beginning April 4, CT improved to a B-. Currently, there are 8,781 confirmed cases of the virus in the state with most of them in Fairfield County which has earned an A- for social distancing.

As a whole, the United States has currently earned a B- grade. The three states with the worst social distancing grades are Kentucky(D), West Virginia(D), and Wyoming. (D-) There are six states that share the top spot with an A- on the social distancing scoreboard and they are, Florida, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Jersey, New York, and Hawaii.

If you're a stats and methodology geek like I am and want to take a deep dive into how they do what they do, check out Unacast.com.
