This year the Holiday's just got a little merrier, as a Connecticut Mall is calling on one of Santa's biggest supporters, Buddy the Elf, to spread some Christmas cheer.

When children stop by to visit Santa this year at the Connecticut Post Mall, they will be in for a very special treat. The mall has taken a scene right out of the 2003 movie Elf, and have designed a display complete with every detail from the film.

According to the Mall's marketing director Kelly Frantz, who spoke to wtnh.com, the "Elf" display has been constructed right down to the very last detail.

Everything is ‘Elf’ themed, directly from the movie. Everyone can connect with the movie ‘Elf’ so I think people will want to take those selfies and those Instagram moments. Every detail is there, from the handmade paper chains to the gum on those New York City sidewalks. The experience is one of a kind. This set has never been produced anywhere in the world, and that’s what we’re excited about, having everyone come here and experience Buddy the Elf.

Santa’s “Elf” inspired home is open now until Christmas Eve. Visitors can take a free walk through the display, but there is a charge for photos with Santa.

I actually stopped by the mall last weekend, and I have to say it's a pretty cool set up. If your a fan of the movie "Elf", then this is a must see this holiday season. You might even want to visit Santa, who doesn't smell like beef and cheese.

If you need more information you can always visit the Connecticut Post Mall online.
