This Tuesday, April 7th, Lamont took to Twitter that he has issued an Executive Order permitting recent medical school and other medical profession graduates to being practicing now.

Doing this will give Connecticut the necessary assistance it needs during this time.

Additionally, the information has been taken into a press release stating that the allowance of recent medical graduates who are not licensed yet will be able to participate in the COVID-19 response during this time. This is necessary because the ability to take the required exam to receive the license has been suspended.

With so, so much appreciation, thank you to every single health care worker who is putting themselves on the front lines to help others. You are all real life super heroes!
