When it comes time to think of a place and eventually choose a place to live, it takes a lot of time and research to make that final decision.

According to Business Insider, our friends at finance website
Money Rates used a bunch of different sources to put together a list of the best and worst places to make a living in the United States.

For the best places to live, Washington, Colorado, Utah, Texas, Ohio, Michigan, Virginia, and Illinois were named the best places to make a living.

For the worst places to make a living, Maine, California, Oregon, West Virginia, and YES Good Old Connecticut made the list!

Things like average income, cost of living index, unemployment rate, work incidents, and state tax on average income were all considered.

HEY - At least CT made a list for something! LOL!
