Connecticut Residents Worried of What Lies Ahead for Loved Ones in Dorian’s Path

A growing concern is ratcheting up as Hurricane Dorian nears landfall.

Many Connecticut residents have friends and family members in the path of a hurricane that could very well be a record-setter. With winds up to 185mph, Dorian is the strongest hurricane to ever hit the Bahamas and already the island is reporting major damage. Here's what Port St. Lucie Florida sheriff, Ken Mascara told CNN,

Quinnipiac University and the University of Connecticut are providing tools for students who have family members who live in Florida. According to nbcconnecticut.com., licensed counselors are available 24/7 to university students who might suffer from anxiety and depression.

According to CNN, Sunday, Sept. 1 at 3 pm, Dorian is a Category 5 hurricane moving west at 7mph with sustained winds of 185mph and forecasters currently have put together 5 possible landfall locations.
