For most of us, going to a farm and petting a goat is our only experience with them. But a Connecticut baseball team would love for you to have a different experience.

In the world of what's on trend, this one ranks right up there. I've petted goats, I've had goats milk. I'm a huge fan of a company in New Milford Connecticut known as Goat Boy Soaps and have used many of their products.

I have, however, never done Yoga, and I had never heard of this growing trend. Some research later, and here's what I found out.

In a story covered by cnn.com earlier this year, Goat Yoga seems to have gotten it's start in Oregon. According to the story, Lainey Morse of Albany, Oregon owns a small farm. And on the farm, she owns herself some goats. The story goes on to say that Morse hosted a child's birthday party on the farm as part of a charity auction, and a mom who taught yoga was at the party. Morse told cnn.com

The woman said - You should really have a yoga class out here. I said okay, but the goats have to join in

And so it was born. Goat Yoga. Take a look

Fast forward to Hartford Connecticut and one of our state's baseball teams. You guessed it. Goat Yoga is being embraced by the Hartford Yard Goats. And I'm here to tell you, you better jump on it fast. This is one hot trend that people are lining up for. Yard Goat Yoga has already SOLD OUT two sessions scheduled for January.

Due to popular demand though, you can still grab tickets for this hot commodity with snuggly goats in attendance. They have added two more sessions for another date, Saturday Feb. 17 at 10 a.m. and 11: 30 a.m. Hey, it's a great gift idea, or just the chance to say you did Goat Yoga.
