A couple of police officers helped Santa deliver a very special Christmas gift for one Connecticut family.

According to the Town of Orange Police Department, baby Jillian just couldn't wait to make her presence known to the world before Christmas.

Just before 10:00 PM on Monday night (December 23) Officers Frank Koshes and Emily Taylor arrived at a local home to find that the little bundle of joy, Jillian, had just been born. As the first responders waited for the paramedics to arrive, they instinctively helped out the family by clamping and cutting the baby's umbilical cord, suctioning her nose and mouth, and wrapping and warming her up.

A job well done by the local first responders and congratulations to the family.

Welcome to the world, baby Jillian!
