CT and NY Drivers Sound Off on Pet Peeves Behind the Wheel

Did you know April is National Distracted Driving Awareness Month. With that in mind, we asked our listeners about what driving habits drive them crazy. The responses were great!

Just about everyone has come across another driver that's doing something stupid, or something that just drives most people crazy. It doesn't matter if it's the old guy doing 20 mph in a 40 mph zone, or the lady who waits until the last second to turn in front of you, or maybe even the guy you see driving next to you, texting away.

Speaking of texting, a new survey released by Zendrive.com, looked at data from three million drivers over the course of three months. Here's what they came up with. Most of us use our mobile devices during 88 percent of car trips, and that during hour-long drives, those behind the wheel spent an average of 3.5 minutes using their phones.
