Connecticut’s ‘New Park Brewing’ Up for USA Today’s Best New Brewery

USA Today's Best New Brewery contest is currently underway with two Connecticut breweries in the top 20.

According to an article in courant.com., twenty breweries from across the United States are vying for the title of 'Best New Brewery' and two of those 20 are right here in Connecticut. The two breweries are New Park Brewing in West Hartford and Fox Farm Brewery in Salem. Hudson Valley Brewery in Beacon NY also made the cut.

USA Today readers will narrow it down to the Top 10 and eventually the #1 Best New Brewery in the country. I've already placed my vote for 'New Park Brewing' and you can do the same. It's easy, just go to 10best.com., and check out the nominees and then place your vote.

You can vote once a day for your favorite up until Monday, March 19 at noon and the winner will be crowned on Friday, March 23. In all, there are seven brew-centric categories: Best Brew Pub, Best Brewery Tour, Best Beer Scene, Best Beer Label, Best Beer Festival, Best Beer Bar, and Best New Brewery.
