The charity that gets the most votes will receive a $500 check courtesy of Honda of Danbury, as well as a bank of radio commercials courtesy of Townsquare Media to generate awareness for their cause. Ann's Place

A compassionate nonprofit serving Connecticut and Hudson Valley, New York, with professional counseling, support groups, wellness activities, and educational resources. Additionally, they support cancer patients who come to them for aid by "assisting you and your loved ones to create a unique pathway through cancer that enhances your quality of life."

The Women's Center of Greater Danbury

This is a non-profit organization with a vision to end the violence against women, men and children and to foster equality and empowerment for all. They serve the needs of individuals and families in the Northern Fairfield and Southern Litchfield county communities of Bethel, Bridgewater, Brookfield, Danbury, Kent, New Fairfield, New Milford, Newtown, Redding, Ridgefield, Roxbury, Sherman and Washington. They provide prevention, crisis intervention, and support services with regard to domestic violence, sexual assault and other major life transitions. Their free and confidential services are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.

Family & Children's Aid

This child-focused registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization offers high quality, innovative mental health care for children and their families. For over 200 years, Family & Children's Aid has provided children with safe homes and therapeutic support, allowing children to lead healthier lives. They believe excellent care should be available to individuals and families in all walks of life.

United Way of Western CT

This nonprofit supporting 15 towns across Fairfield and Litchfield counties offers programs and services to benefit the community they describe as ALICE: Asset Limited, Income Constrained, Employed. United Way of Western CT "has its pulse on community needs in regards to education, financial stability and the health of our residents." They work hard to bring people and resources together to "solve complex problems that no one organization can solve alone."
