The uncertainty of Sunday's weather forecast has forced the Danbury Ancient Order of Hibernians to cancel the city's St. Patrick's Day Parade.

In a statement issued earlier today, parade co-chairs Kevin Hearty and Annmarie Gordon explained that the forecast presented too many safety concerns: not just snow, but low temperatures and winds. While no one's exactly sure where this storm is going to track, better to be safe than sorry.

The Greater Danbury Irish Cultural Center will still be open Sunday afternoon, with beer, corned beef sandwiches and live music scheduled.
