Baby and Johnny are returning to the big screen in Danbury.

The classic film Dirty Dancing about a teenage girl who learns about love, adult responsibility, and how to master the Dirty Boogie returns to the AMC Theatres in Danbury this month for two days only. Travel with "Baby" Houseman to the Catskills on February 10 and February 13 with showings both days at 4 pm and 7 pm and remember that "Nobody puts Baby in a corner."

The movie set in 1963 features Jennifer Grey as 17-year-old "Baby" Houseman who falls head-over-heels in love with the resort's dance instructor, "Johnny" played by Patrick Swayze. Dirty Dancing turned out to be a surprise hit and also took home the Best Original Song Oscar for "(I've Had) the Time of My Life."

Fathom Events and Liongates dreamed up with this genius throwback idea to bring this 1987 box office hit to hundreds of theatres across the country. Locally you can relive the Dirty Dancing experience not only at the AMC Theaters in Danbury but also at the Regal Brass Mill Stadium 12 in Waterbury and the Conn Post 14 & IMAX in Milford. The days and times are the same at all three theaters.
