Firefighters Respond to Brush Fire in New Fairfield

According to NBC Connecticut, there is a brush fire in New Fairfield. It is in a state forest off of Beaver Bog Road.

Firefighters from New Fairfield have responded to the fire. They have received help from Putnam Lake, Sherman, Patterson, and Danbury firefighters.

According to New Fairfield First Selectwoman, Susan Chapman, there are no injuries or threats to houses or other structures at this time.
