When an enlisted man or women takes off the uniform it's hard to tell weather or not they served their country. When that person goes on to become a celebrity it's even harder to tell especially if they played one on TV or in a Movie.

 

So today in honor of Veterans Day here are five very famous people that actually served this country.

    He actually enlisted in 1950 and wanted to be a pilot.  But he was medically discharged nine months later because of a bad back.

    He served in the Navy for three years.  He was an aviation storekeeper at a base near San Francisco.

    The Golden Girls star was in the Marines during World War Two. She was a truck driver and typist in the Women's Reserve from 1943 to 1945.

    No surprise here, Chuck is basically a one man army. He actually served in the Air Force, and was first introduced to Martial Arts while he was stationed in Korea.
