Food Network Star Carves Pumpkins At Stew Leonard’s In Danbury
Customers at the Danbury Stew Leonard's store were treated to a day of pumpkin carving by sculptor Lenny Calvin this past Saturday.
Lenny is a veteran of the Food Network TV show "Halloween Wars," having competed in 2016 and also on this year's show which premiered at the end of September.
According to his website, Lenny's "day job" is custom carpentry, but during the Halloween season, he indulges his love for carving pumpkins, gourds, potatoes and all varieties of vegetables and fruits. He's been appearing at all the Stew's locations throughout the month and will cap off the Halloween season with an appearance at the Halloween Harvest in Coney Island on October 27.
As you can see from the video below, he does great work making both scary and funny carvings. A perfect way to get everyone into the Halloween spirit.
