There are all kinds of great discounts and freebies for active military, vets and families this holiday weekend and beyond and here we've featured a few of them:

Blue Star Museums – Get Free Admission at more 2,000 museums in all states. There is free admission for active duty military personnel as well as families Memorial Day to Labor Day. There’s also Blue Star Theatres, where military personnel and their families, as well as veterans get discounted and sometimes free admission.
Home Depot offers 10% discount in the store to ALL military veterans on Memorial Day. They also give a year-round 10% discount at all U.S. stores to active duty personnel, reservists, retired or disabled veterans, in addition to immediate dependents.
Hooters gives veterans and active-duty military personnel free meals on Memorial Day from a select menu.
Lowe’s gives veterans receive a 10% discount on Memorial Day. It’s not the same as the with everyday 10% discount given to current service members, retired veterans, or VA recipients with their immediate family members.
Mystic Aquarium in Mystic, Connecticut is giving free admission to U.S. Military Veterans along with active members Saturday through Monday with military identification.
Ninety Nine Restaurant and Pub veterans along with active duty members can get a free meal from the 9 Real Size Entrées for $9.99 Menu on Monday.
Sherwin-Williams for Military Appreciation Month, military and veterans get 10% off on Paints & Stains with identification.
T-Mobile has a deal through May 31st, for anybody with the T-Mobile One Military plan. They can get a Samsung Galaxy S9, S9+ or S8 for half price. This is over and above thier permanent discount program for service members.
Walgreens walgreens has a 20 percent discount for veterans, active duty service members on Memorial Day along with immediate family, this includes families of those who lost in serving our country.
