It has happened! What Fuller House fans have been hoping for has officially been announced, and we're all excited.

Wednesday morning on Twitter, Fuller House announced that they will be coming back for a second season! Season one hasn't even been out for a week yet, so, that tells you how popular this show is.

There are a few things I'm hoping to see in the second season.

Less Use of the Old Catchphrases

Don't get me wrong, I love the nostalgia. Hearing John Stamos say, "Have mercy!" or Jodie Sweetin say, "How rude?" was fun, and definitely gave that feeling like you were seeing an old friend, but I don't think they need to use those as much in season two.

More Episodes

Thirteen episodes was a great place to start, but I'm really hoping season two will be closer to 24 episodes. Either that, or they release them closer together. If there is only a month or so between releases, then it wouldn't be bad if they stuck to 13 episodes.

It's hard with Netflix shows, because they usually release all the episodes at once. So, if you binge watch them, and new ones aren't coming out for a year, you forget what has happened with the characters by the time the new season is release.

More Story Lines with John, Bob, Dave, and Lori

I know this is following the girls, and their new journey together, but it would be fun to see more story lines for some of the other original characters. I'd like to learn a little more about Joey's life in Las Vegas, and about Danny's wife.

Something From an Olsen Twin

As I said in my post about my thoughts on season one, I really didn't miss the Olsen twins on the show. Andrea Barber's Kimmy Gibbler more than filled the gap of Michelle not being on the show. However, since there is going to be a season two, it would be nice if one of the twins could at least do a call-in. I understand they haven't acted in a while, and that's one of the big reasons they didn't join on for season one, but a call-in would be a good way to keep Michelle real to the audience.

Fuller House season two announcement that was on Twitter:

One thing I hope they keep is the opening for the show. Love what they came up with, and it's a perfect mix of the past and the present!
