Fun Toys to Have on Hand for Snow Days

There is nothing better, as a kid, than having a snow day. I can still remember sitting by my radio just waiting to hear my town announced for a snow closing. Once your town was mentioned on the list your plans for the day changed to just having fun with friends in the snow.

Snow forts, sledding down big hills, snow tubes, snowmobiles, and snow ball fights are all things that made snow days so much fun. Well those and warming up inside with hot chocolate.

There are lots of fun toys and gadgets you can buy for some extra fun in the snow. On a list from mashable.com they list fun things like a snowball slingshot, a snowball maker, a snow castle kit, and a one-person bobsled.

Coolthings.com also lists the bobsled, but what I really like on their list is the shovel that has a second handle making it easy to shovel a path or make a huge snow mountain.

On Amazon they have a best sellers list for 'Outdoor Snow Play,' Lots of ice skates and sleds on the list, but they also have other fun things like a snowball blaster, a Snow Moto Zip Minion Ride On, and cute snowman making kits.
