Illuminated Boat Parade Set to Light Up Candlewood Lake

Got a boat on Candlewood Lake? String some lights, grab some friends and join the Illuminated Boat Parade.

New Fairfield Park & Rec presents the brand-spankin' new Candlewood Lake Illuminated Boat Parade on the evening of Friday, July 12, and you're all invited.

Participating boats will all line up at Spear Point and begin their journey at 8:45 pm, as they cruise down to Squantz Cove and up to Chatterton Marina and then on over to the lake community of Knollcrest.

The glittering boats will then make a slow pass by New Fairfield Town Park and slowly cruise over to the Candlewood Isle clubhouse. The public viewing area will be located at the Connecticut State Boat Launch and the New Fairfield Town Park both located on Route 39. Entrance to those viewing areas will open at 8 pm.
