Lamont feels that if restaurants are closed down, people will go and find "a different environment." The bottom line is Lamont does not have plans for new restrictions. If you think NYC and CT restrictions are tough, how about Pennsylvania, where they announced a three-week shutdown of indoor dining, high school sports, casinos, bowling alleys, theatres, and more.

The United States is the world leader in the number of coronavirus cases and deaths globally. Global COVID-19 cases have surpassed 69,704,000 cases and 1,584,000 deaths. The United States, Brazil, and Germany are the countries driving the numbers upward, while Germany is considering a country lockdown after Christmas.

That first step to flattening the COVID curve, says Fauci is, "everyone needs to admit that we have a real problem."

Unfortunately, thousands upon thousands of the country's population think that the coronavirus isn't such a big deal until they find themselves or a loved one in a hospital bed inside an ICU with a tube down their throat, not being able to breathe and trying desperately not to die alone. Please, I'm begging you to wear a mask and when your turn comes around, take the vaccine.
