Well yesterday we knew that this "tropical storm" Joaquin was developing in the Atlantic, and that it might be headed our way.

According to WABC, the storm has officially become a
Category 1 Hurricane. At this point a Hurricane warning has been issued for the Bahamas as it's increased in strength to a current 75 mph.

Some weather models from WABC say that the New York City Area and north, including our area, could be in the track of the storm. The paths have drastically changed from yesterday through today, showing lots of rain coming our way from the storm into next week.

So we enjoyed our Sunny summer, but lately we've been wishing for so much needed rain.  I guess sometimes we need to be careful what we wish for!
