Azzi is one of the most sought-after prospects in recent memory, and she's coming to UCONN! She told ESPN that another reason she chose UCONN was so her parents could attend games more frequently. Even Golden State Warriors star Steph Curry was singing her praises:

She can be going full speed, and stop on a dime and have, like, a feathery release. I think she has more of a textbook jumper than anyone I've seen.

Fudd had just turned 18 and was the No. 1 player in the class of 2021 when she announced her commitment to the UCONN Huskies. In high school, she played for Washington D.C's St. John's College High School.

Fudd was named after Hall of Fame superstar player Jennifer Azzi, an Olympic gold medalist and member of the Women's Basketball Hall of Fame. Both her mom and dad played college ball. Her dad, Tim, starred at American University, and her mom, Katie, was a fourth-round pick in the 2001 WNBA Draft but her playing days never materialized due to injuries.
