Wasting away again at Margaritaville. Well, maybe not for too much longer, as the popular restaurant at Mohegan Sun is getting set to close its doors forever.

It's become a sign of the times in Connecticut, another long time business closing for good. This time, Mohegan Sun is affected and Jimmy Buffet's Margaritaville is the victim one decade after first opening inside the popular casino.

The closing was made public a few days ago after the parent company of Margaritaville indicated the restaurant will close by year's end, and some 60 jobs will be lost.

The Mohegan Sun Margaritaville location was the only one located in New England, and served up margaritas from an eight-foot-tall blender and had a menu featuring items named after songs by Jimmy Buffet like the “Cheeseburger in Paradise”, the the "Five O'Clock Somewhere" bar and other options that are highlighted by Jimmy Buffet's love of the Florida Keys.

There's no word yet as to what other chain may take over the Margaritaville location inside Mohegan Sun.
