In a last ditch effort to put an end to the Harlem Globetrotters dominance on the Basketball Court, the World All Stars have signed Kick 105.5's Mr. Morning to a short-term, high-profile contract.

With the best winning percentage of any sports team in history, the Harlem Globetrotters will be trying to notch another win in their belt as they take on the World All Stars on Thursday night at 7 pm at the O'Neil Center in Danbury.

Today, in an effort to strengthen their team, the World All Stars stunned the sports world by signing local radio personality Mr. Morning from Kicks 105.5 to a one night contract. The World All Star team president was quoted as saying, "We're really hoping that the addition of Mr. Morning is just what we need to finally stop the Globetrotters' streak". When asked about the new signee's basketball ability, another team spokesperson said, "We figured once they see him, and see what he does on the court, we're hoping they'll be too busy laughing, and we can take advantage of the opportunity."

Speaking thru his agent, Mr. Morning said, "I'm really looking forward to playing against the World Famous Harlem Globetrotters. The World All Stars have some of the best players on the planet, and, now, with me there, we'll have a chance to prove that Thursday night at the O'Neil Center. It'll be history in the making, and probably the biggest sports upset of all time."

Don't miss a minute of the action. Join us Thursday night on the west side campus of Western Connecticut State University.
