Women love him, and men want to be him. He's one of Country Music's premiere superstars, he's "The Urban".

Born in New Zealand, Keith Lionel Urban was sure a long way from Nashville. According to wikipedia.com his journey began when he moved to Australia when he was 17. Already a veteran of Country Music Festivals in Australia, he started playing in them when he was 10.

In 1983 he was a contestant on the Australian TV show "New Faces". This lead to Keith making inroads into the local country music scene until he was signed by EMI Records in 1990.

In 1991, he released "Keith Urban" and charted four singles in Australia before moving to Nashville the following year.

Urban has released a total of nine studio albums. He's had 37 singles on the US Hot Country Chart, 18 of which went to number one. He's won 3 Grammy's, and numerous CMA and ACM Awards.

Urban is also known for his roles as a coach on the Australian version of the singing competition "The Voice" and as a judge on "American Idol. He posed nude for Playgirl in 2002, though he didn't show any frontal nudity. In 2006 he married actress Nicole Kidman, they have two daughters, Sunday Rose, and Faith Margaret. In October 2013, Urban introduced his own signature line of guitars and accessories on HSN.
