Ladies what would you do. Your new man has just given you "The Ring", but you find out it once belonged to his ex girlfriend. As you can expect it didn't turn out well for this guy.

According to a guy named Bengt Nyquist in Vero Beach, Florida recently proposed to his 43-year-old girlfriend Inga. So far, so good. But now comes the part where all hell breaks loose. Inga was going through some of Bengt's old photos when she saw one of him and his ex-girlfriend.  And as most women would, she noticed the woman was wearing an engagement ring . . . the SAME one SHE was wearing.

Yeah, it turns out Bengt took back the ring after things ended with his ex, and REGIFTED it to Inga when they got engaged.

So rightfully so, she flipped out.  She allegedly grabbed a metal piece of their bed, threw it at him, and struck him on the left side of his face. She then chased him around their place trying to punch him.

Sometime during the argument he managed to call 911. She became even more enraged and the scuffle continued. Cops responding to the couple’s residence noted that Nyquist had “minor bruising” on his face and “bruises and minor abrasions on his arms from defending himself during the attack.”

Daftartiene was arrested for misdemeanor battery after cops determined that she was the “primary aggressor” during the encounter. Daftartiene who's a licensed real estate broker, is free on $500 bond and has been ordered by a judge to have no contact with Nyquist. She is scheduled for arraignment on February 9.

As for the engagement ring, its whereabouts are unknown.
