I know it's not over yet, but it's been a weird mild winter, especially over the last few weeks. Now that March is here and spring is in sight, hopefully winter's wrath won't return.

It's been a great weather run over the last week or so. Hey when it's almost 70 and it's still February you can't go wrong, but I don't know if we can count on March being as kind to us, especially if you gauge it by that popular old March saying. You know the one, "March comes in like a lion, and goes out like a lamb".

See that's how March usually works, it's an up and down month weather wise. It can start rough and end up great, or as is the case this year, it can start nice and mild and wind up being brutal by the end of the month, you just never know.

So March has definitely come in like a Lamb, now according to folk law it should go out like a lion. That's how it's suppose to work here in the U.S. but March does behave differently in other parts of the world.

One of my favorite skits ever on Saturday Night Live was from their very first season during the Weekend Update segment. Meteorologist John Belushi runs through all the wacky ways that March comes in and goes out in country’s around the world.
