Our first ever Harvest Jam Country Festival is Saturday October 10 at Ives Concert Park in Danbury!

We'll have live music all day from country star Keith Anderson, Nashville rising star and Yorktown NY's own Jessica Lynn, CT's own Forgotten by Friday, and New Milford's own J.R. Waters!   Speaking of J.R. what's this boy all about?

J.R. was born in Greenwood, SC and lived there until he was 5 years old. From there he moved to Haw River, NC until he was 14 at which time he moved up here to New Milford, CT. His father is a Baptist preacher so he was able to see a lot of different places growing up as a kid. When Waters graduated high school, he went into the U.S. Air Force where he served for 8 years. J.R. says he very much enjoyed serving his country in that capacity, and we thank him for his service!  Waters then got married to his beautiful wife in August of 2001 and they now have a little boy and a little girl. He then moved back to Connecticut after separating from the military.

His musical background began with singing in church as a child and during high school he played the bass guitar in a band with buddies, and played in similar bands when he first entered the military. Waters decided to learn more about the guitar and began to learn country songs. He currently plays in church in his town, as well as local festivals and most recently the Bridgewater Fair!
