Connecticut Dentist Gets 7 Years for Sexually Assaulting Patients
This dentist's new address will be a prison cell for the next 7 to 15 years.
Wtnh.com. reports that his name is Jeffrey Krahling from Wallingford and he used to be a dentist in Meriden until he was accused and convicted of possession of child pornography, sexually assaulting two patients and intimidating a witness.
Female patients reported that Krahling wrapped his legs around their heads and then made grinding motions during dental procedures. The 53-year-old dentist pleaded guilty to a series of offenses under the Alford doctrine which means he doesn't agree with the case against him but acknowledges there's enough evidence to be convicted.
State police discovered Krahling had 38 images and 15 videos of child porn on a laptop. The sexual assaults happened during dental procedures in 2016. He was sentenced in New Haven Superior Court to 15 years in prison suspended after 7 years along with 10 years of probation after his release.
